Les Sections Internationales SIS Paris Ouest est un leader de l'éducation bilingue en région parisienne depuis plus de 60 ans. Intégrées dans le système éducatif français, nos sections internationales accueillent plus de 900 familles, de la maternelle au secondaire, dans un réseau de 7 établissements partenaires. Notre équipe pédagogique compte plus de 60 enseignants diplômés et de langue maternelle.

Primary Teacher of English (EFL) from September 2024 

Our ACTIVE ENGLISH programme for beginner learners of English is growing!
If you love working with Primary-aged children (7 to 10 year-olds) and teaching beginners in acquiring English language skills through activities-based learning (arts & crafts, games, music, drama etc.) and working with a dynamic and welcoming team, this is an ideal role for you. 

ACTIVE ENGLISH takes place Wednesday mornings from 9 am-12 pm. There are 30 Wednesdays in the academic year. 

We are seeking candidates who :
  • are native English speakers
  • are confident with engaging bilingual pupils through creative teaching strategies
  • are dedicated to the progress of pupils
  • has excellent collaborative skills, a sense of initiative, and enjoy sharing best practice with colleagues

SIS Paris Ouest – International Sections has been a leader in bilingual education in the Paris area for close to 65 years. We are a network of 7 host schools and serve over 900 families from pre-school to the secondary level. A fee-paying international section embedded within the French National Education system, the Anglophone Section offers our pupils a highly challenging academic programme leading to the British option of the BFI (French Baccalauréat with an international option) and a rich co-curricular life. Our internationally-minded graduates go on to study in top-ranked universities in the UK, EU, Canada and the USA.  

As part of our Wednesday School, SIS Paris Ouest also runs a programme for beginner learners in English and German: Active English and Der Deutschclub.

 

 

 
 

SUPPLY TEACHERS

We are looking to develop our roster of supply teachers for the Anglophone section.

  • The ideal candidate will be confident with engaging and managing bilingual, secondary level pupils in the English and/or History-Geography classroom (KS3 to KS5), and is able to adapt to last-minute situations with initiative and creative solutions.
