Wednesday Secondary School

The SIS Wednesday Secondary School offers a high quality academic experience for near-native and bilingual students between 11 and 15 years old (from 6e through to 3e)

Our students explore classics of the English literary canon such as George Orwell's 'Animal Farm' and Robert Louis Stevenson's 'Jekyll and Hyde'. All year groups participate in the national Poetry by Heart competition and also participate in team building activities and interactive workshops in public speaking, current affairs and Shakespearean drama, where mixed year groups develop critical and creative thinking and empathy with bilingual friends from the Paris region.

Wednesday Secondary School

This lower secondary afternoon programme is a popular option at the SIS for students who wish to remain at their local 'collège' and deepen their English language skills of writing and oral expression in a bilingual and international learning environment.

This is also an option for some students who wish to prepare for admissions to our integrated international section programme in Seconde.
